Togethxr — Kaikaina

Surfing has come a long way since its origins in ancient Polynesia. In Hawaii today, surfing remains more than just a sport –– it’s a lifestyle, sacred cultural act, and gathering passed down for generations. In the male-dominated sport of surfing, these “kaikaina”, or little sisters, are the change-makers of the future. The girls and women of Kaikaina support each other, surf at an elite level, and strive to be the ultimate best.

Created by The Gnar Gnar Honeys and presented by Togethxr. Shot on location on Oahu.
